Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to review our Terms & Conditions ahead of your service - it helps everything run smoothly on the day.

Simple things like clear access around the home can make all the difference when we arrive.

Once your estimate is approved (via email, text, or verbal confirmation), the following Terms & Conditions apply.

-GENERAL-

Please make sure any pet waste is cleared from the areas we’ll be working in prior to our arrival.

Our teams are using ladders and equipment throughout the property, and clear access helps us work safely and efficiently.

You don’t need to be home for exterior window cleaning or eavestrough service — as long as we have access to running water from an outdoor faucet


Please have all vehicles removed from the driveway on the day of your window cleaning or eavestrough service.

Please ensure any furniture or plants near the house are moved aside before your service so our team has clear, safe access to the work areas.

If that’s not something you’re able to take care of, just let us know ahead of time and we’ll plan to handle it for you.

 

Our team is happy to move lighter outdoor furniture and items as needed to access work areas.

For safety and to avoid damage, heavier, fragile, or high-value items may be left in place. If access is limited, we’ll complete what we can and may need to skip or reschedule certain areas.

 

-WINDOW CLEANING-

 

Exterior window cleaning requires access to running water from an outdoor faucet. Without it, we won’t be able to complete the service.

Interior window cleaning requires access inside the home during the service. If we’re unable to access the home, those areas will be skipped or rescheduled.

 

Certain services are not included by default and will only be completed if selected on your form or requested ahead of time.

This includes deck glass, screen cleaning or repair, and railing/handrail cleaning.

 

If your windows have exterior screens, they’ll need to be removed for us to properly clean the glass.

Most clients take care of this ahead of time. If you’d prefer us to handle the screens, just let us know and we’ll include it as part of your service.

If screens remain in place and access is limited, we may need to skip those windows or return at a later time.


Please ensure any valuables or furniture near the windows are cleared before your interior window cleaning so we have safe, unobstructed access.

 

You’re welcome to ask for an arrival time. Unless you’re the first job of the day, timing can vary due to the nature of the work. 

You’ll receive a text message when your crew is on the way so you know when to expect us.

-EAVESTROUGHS CLEANING-

 

Our eavestrough cleaning includes removing leaves, debris, and buildup from gutters and downspouts to restore proper flow.

Heavier buildup, clogged downspouts, or long-neglected gutters may require additional time. If so, we’ll confirm with you before proceeding.

Scope may vary depending on the service level selected.

Repairs or resealing of eavestroughs and downspouts aren’t included unless discussed and quoted in advance.

Our eavestrough cleaning includes removing leaves, debris, and buildup from gutters and downspouts to restore proper flow, including standard downspout clearing.

Heavier buildup or more complex blockages may require additional time. We’ll make every effort to reach you before proceeding. If we’re unable to connect, we’ll continue with the work to restore proper flow and note any additional time on your final invoice.

We’ll remove all debris as part of the service. In some cases, a small amount may settle afterward due to wind or surrounding conditions.

Debris that accumulates after the service due to weather or environmental factors is not covered.

We take care to work safely and prevent damage. Pre-existing issues, such as loose eaves, worn or rusted sections, or poorly secured downspouts, are not covered.

 

If we identify any structural concerns during cleaning, we’ll let you know and share photos.

If it’s outside our scope, we can guide you on next steps or you’ll have what you need to arrange repairs.

 

-ESTIMATES & PAYMENTS-

 

We do our best to provide accurate estimates. Final pricing may vary slightly based on actual window or deck glass counts confirmed on-site.

If additional time is required due to tougher buildup or staining, we’ll proceed based on your selections on the booking form or make every effort to contact you before moving forward.

If costs are expected to exceed the estimate significantly, we’ll reach out to confirm next steps.

 

Payment is due within 7 days of receiving the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 

Overdue balances may be subject to applicable late fees.

 

For jobs over $1,000, a 50% deposit may be required, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

 

We accept e-transfer, cheque, and cash. Credit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee.

All payments must be made in CAD


Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.\

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

 

-PHOTOS-

 

Our technicians may take photos of the exterior of your home for training, quality assurance, documentation, and marketing purposes.

If you’d prefer your property not be used for marketing or social media, just let us know and we’ll make a note on your file.

 

-SUBSCRIBING-

 

By completing any of our online forms you are agreeing to be added to our email subscription list for all services provided by Stella Inc. This will ensure you will receive reminders of service dates and the occasional seasonal promotion for Stella Lights and Stella Windows.
