Terms & Conditions

Please take a moment to read our T's & C's, it will make for a smooth transaction for your cleaning.  Sometimes we may not be able to reach a window if, say, a car is blocking access.  So, by reading this you will better be prepared for when we get there:)

Windows & Eaves Terms & Conditions…

 

Upon agreeing to the estimate via email, text or verbal agreement you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

 

-GENERAL-

 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pick up any dog poop from the areas we will be working. We are using tools and ladders and they work better if they aren’t covered in “yard snickers”. Excessive doggy “landmines” in the yard WILL cause your service to be delayed and/or rescheduled!

 

You DO NOT need to be home for exterior window cleans and eavestrough cleaning PROVIDED we have access to running water from your outdoor faucet.

 

As you know, Calgary's weather can change at any moment. As such, we ask your patience and flexibility if we need to reschedule.

 

Please remove all vehicles from the driveway on the day of your window cleaning & eavestrough cleaning.

 

Please remove all furniture and plants from areas close to the house for exterior window cleans and eavestrough cleaning.

 

We are not responsible for moving outdoor furniture, decorations, or other items. If these items obstruct access service may be delayed or rescheduled.

 

-WINDOW CLEANING-

 

We will need access to running water for exterior window cleaning.

 

We will need access inside the house for interior window cleaning.

 

Please note that deck glass cleaning is an optional add-on and is not included by default. If you do require this service, kindly select it on the online form or let us know directly.

 

Mesh screens are also an additional service and if you would like to request a screen cleaning then be sure to select it on our online form or let us know directly.

 

If you have exterior screens, please remove them before our arrival, regardless of whether mesh screen cleaning has been selected. If screens obstruct access, we may be unable to clean those windows.

(Friendly Tip: if you're removing the screens, labelling them, can make it easier to reinstall them in the correct windows after cleaning)

 

Please clear all valuables and furniture away from windows for Interior window cleaning.

 

Unfortunately, we can't control the weather, so if a storm causes dirt or water spots after your service, we won't be able to return for a free touchup, we appreciate your understanding.

 

Feel free to ask for an arrival time but, please be aware unless you are the first job of the day it is difficult for us to give accurate times due to variables out of our control.

 

You will receive a text message to let you know one of our teams is on the way.

 

-EAVESTROUGHS CLEANING-

 

Our standard eavestrough cleaning includes the removal of leaves, debris, and buildup from gutters and downspouts.

Additional charges may apply for excessive buildup, clogged damp pipes, or gutters that have not been cleaned in a long time.

Costs may vary depending on time taken to get things flowing freely again.

We do not reseal or repair eavestroughs or downpipes unless otherwise discussed and quoted.

 

We will do our best to remove all debris, small amounts may settle after cleaning, especially during wind conditions, for example.

 

We are not responsible for debris that may collecting gutters due to weather conditions after the service is completed.

 

We will take every precaution to prevent damage; however, we are not liable for pre-existing issues, such as loose eaves, troughs, rusted-out sections, or poorly secured downpipes.

 

Should we identify any structural concerns during cleaning we will notify you and share photos, if it isn't within our scope, we can separately how to proceed otherwise you'll have what you need to contact someone who can help you get things fixed up.

 

-ESTIMATES & PAYMENTS-

 

We try our very best to be accurate with our estimates however the final cost of any services provided by Stella Inc. may vary, if the cost is looking to be significantly over we will call to arrange the best course of action.

 

Payment Due Date - Full payment is required within 7 days of receiving the invoice unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

 

Deposits for Large Jobs - A 50% deposit may be required for jobs exceeding $1000, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

 

Late Payments - Please pay within one week. Additional fees of 5% may be added for each day payment is overdue (please note: we are a small operation and rely on prompt payments to keep cash flow moving)

 

Accepted Payment Methods - We currently accept e-transfer, cheque and cash.

 

Payments can be made by credit card if you agree to pay the processing fees set by your credit card company. (Please contact us for details).

 

All payments must be made in CAD

 

Cancellation & Rescheduling - Cancellations made 2 days of the scheduled service may result in a cancellation fee.

 

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

 

-PHOTOS-

 

Stella Windows Technicians may take photos of the exterior of your home and submit them to Stella Inc. management for reasons such as training, quality assurance, online and social media marketing and dispute resolution. Feel free to request censorship if you do not wish to have your property photographed for social media or marketing purposes.

 

-SUBSCRIBING-

 

By completing any of our online forms you are agreeing to be added to our email subscription list for all services provided by Stella Inc. This will ensure you will receive reminders of service dates and the occasional seasonal promotion for Stella Lights and Stella Windows.
